6th June, 2010: Zipped
Nepal missed a crucial deadline on 28 May 2010. Our country finds itself in a peculiar state - the constitution has not been prepared and political parties are still unwilling to come to a consensus on what to do next. With an uncertain future looming ahead of us, we feel the need to make sense of the situation in our country and the implications it will have on our future and we want to let you have your say about how to make things right. V.E.N.T! Magazine launches My Two Cents, an art project where we encourage you, the public to voice your concerns, opinions, distaste and suggestions on the situation of Nepal. We will publish a new photograph/write-up/artwork that gives a strong message to parliamentarians, Nepali politicians, the Nepali public as well as the larger global community regarding our country.
Send us constructive ideas, suggestions, photographs, artworks, or short text messages. We discourage you from being outright offensive, but be as creative as you want while showcasing your feelings. Feel free to be optimistic, sarcastic, ironic, witty, blatant, powerful. Create your own images or collaborate with us on ideas you would like us to help you with.
